My footing loosing ground.
My body shuddering for embrace.
My senses loosing connection.
My heart beats with crippled love.
No sheltered voice in my ear.
No treasured arms around my shoulders.
No long limbs to entangle.
No breathing in sync.
No us who were we.
Only me here.
Only you somewhere.  

Destruction

My scattered pieces gasping for hope.
Shallow breaths for your regret.
Your silence my unwanted answer.
No future in skipping heart beats.
Frozen blood stands still.
You walked,
I stayed.
